Hello i’m Amanda;
I assist women in reclaiming control of their health to achieve optimal well-being in a world that does not prioritize women’s holistic health as it should.
My journey towards healing has spanned several years, during which I grappled with a myriad of symptoms that hindered me from experiencing life to the fullest. There was a time when my health deteriorated to the point where I was confined to the couch, barely able to transition from bed. Despite undergoing numerous tests with multiple doctors, I received no answers or support regarding why I felt so unwell.
Throughout my life, I battled frequent illnesses, relying on antibiotics and medications without understanding the underlying causes. Even from infancy, I struggled with persistent sickness, prompting my mother to seek answers and guidance from doctors, leading to endless tests and medications. Unfortunately, these health challenges persisted into my teenage years, where I faced severe depression and anxiety, continuing into adulthood with hormonal imbalances adding to the complexity. The symptoms that plagued me in childhood evolved into new issues in adulthood.
This journey propelled me towards holistic health as my intuition insisted that there was a deeper reason behind my struggles, a message my body was trying to convey. It took significant time and effort to unravel these symptoms and identify the underlying issues, emphasizing the importance of addressing the root cause. As I delved deeper into stealth infections, pathogens, immune responses, and nervous system function, I discovered unsuspected challenges such as mold toxicity, Lyme disease, coinfections (not surprising given my exposure to ticks and mosquitoes in Upper Michigan), parasitic infections, and other factors compromising my immune system.
Feeling overwhelmed, I felt compelled to pursue this approach as a final resort, leading to a continuous journey of discovery and healing that ultimately restored my health and revitalized my life.
After finally making immense progress in my health, I knew this was the path I wanted to follow helping others to take control of their health when they feel they have tried everything else with zero results. For the first time in my life, I knew this was my purpose and enrolled in the Nutritional Therapy Association program where I became a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner in May 2022. I have since continued my education and certifications with Emily Morrow’s Master Blood Chem with Em (functional blood work), enrolled in the Integrative Health Practitioner program and a few others.
My focus is primarily on Women’s health as there is a huge gap for Women looking for support with their nutrition, hormones, PCOS, endometriosis and fertility (preconception planning). These are all things I’ve personally struggled with and have been able to really get control of from a holistic stance.
I also work with those struggling with chronic illness (including Men) as this has also been part of my story and know there are so many options to feel better and take control of their health.

my health journey
YEAR BY YEAR
2016
THE YEAR I BEGAN NOTICING MY HEALTH WAS DECLINING
After moving away from everything I had ever known with my at the time boyfriend (now husband) things began really working their way to the surface with past traumas, the sense of feeling unsafe in a new place (Texas) and dealing with a laundry list of symptoms that were not seeming to go away. I was going to multiple Doctors to try to get answers on why I had excruciating pain during my periods, around my ovaries, was unable to lose weight regardless of how much I worked out and “dieted”, had zero energy, couldn’t sleep, had painful bloating and constipation which made eating anything stressful. Their solution was always birth control, which I never did well with. It took the next year at the right time (catching a cyst on my ovary) to finally get a diagnosis of PCOS – with zero real supports on how to manage it.
2018
THE YEAR I THOUGHT MY HEALTH WAS AT ITS BEST
Wedding prep meant going hard in the gym which I had been doing the past two years since getting engaged. Although I was at my “fittest” place since I was in highschool, I was still struggling with symptoms I was bandaiding these with birth control and spironolactone, unaware what was brewing beneath the surface. These symptoms only became 10x worse when I decided to get off birth control and spironolactone after our wedding end of 2018. My mental health began to quickly decline not realizing we were living in toxic mold.
2020
THE YEAR THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING
End of 2019 was a traumatic loss in my life that shifted everything for me. My husband and I both decided it was time to leave our extremely stressful job traveling as my mental, physical and emotional health were at their absolute lowest. Then lockdown began not long after and as you know life was pretty crazy this entire year on top of me trying to navigate a loss that I felt extreme guilt for. It felt like my world had completely stopped and I had to make the decision to either push through and ask for help in a different approach or worse. I searched for a holistic practitioner and was able to begin doing the DEEP work of Root Cause which was ultametly what led me to my life completely changing for the better and becoming a practitioner myself!
2021
THE YEAR I CHASED MY DREAMS
After having life changing results in this side of health and finally getting to a place where I could handle more than the bare minimum (because of my health) I took the leap and enrolled in the Nutritional Therapy Association to begin my career in holistic health and nutrition! As someone who always struggled with learning and enjoying learning- this just came so naturally to me and I KNEW this was my purpose! I was consistently working on my own health, digging deeper each and every day for supports and diving into my course.
2022
THE YEAR I OPENED MY PRACTICE
After graduated the NTA in May of ’22, I took the leap of opening my own virtual practice to serve clients on their journey! It has been an exciting journey to be a part of my clients lives and every day I feel honored that they trusted me to support them. I have continued to add additional certifications since (MBCE, Integrative Health Practitioner) and will continue to do so to give my clients the all around support they need!
and the story continues
